Who We Are
Friends of Exuma is a U.S. 501(c)(3) charity that supports the community and environment of Exuma. Founded in 2020, we have donated more than $2.5M to community partners and initiatives working across youth development, cultural preservation, conservation, and sustainable living in the Exumas.
What We Believe
Great things happen when the right resources and good ideas come together. We believe in experiential learning and in creating real opportunities for young people. We believe healthy minds and healthy bodies build vibrant communities. And we believe in the everyday people of Exuma who celebrate culture, honor the environment, and stand together in times of hardship.
How We Work
Every gift to Friends of Exuma goes to a partner already at work on the ground. We provide the steady operating support that lets a small organization plan a year, instead of scraping for one. Every partner reports back to us on what the grant paid for. Every donor knows what their money moved.
