Free reading instruction, water safety, and support for children in Exuma and The Bahamas Out Islands.
Who They Are
Bahamas Children’s Mission is a charity that provides free specialized reading instruction, books, water safety lessons, and food to children in Exuma and The Bahamas Out Islands. It runs summer camps and after-school tutoring for students who need a little extra assistance in their learning. The reach is wide. The delivery is direct. When a child in Exuma needs help with reading or a safe place after school, BCM is where the community turns.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Friends of Exuma has been a partner of Bahamas Children’s Mission since our inception. Your support, through the Community Fund, helps BCM source the critical learning materials, water safety equipment, and program resources that keep camps and tutoring free for the children who need assistance.
