BNT’s Oral History Project

The Bahamas National Trust will be opening their Moriah Harbour Cay National Park Oral History Project Exhibit this spring. Almost three years in the making, this project has captured the stories and recollections of those who remember living off the land and sea specifically in the areas that are now included in the national park. This project is a tribute to the knowledge, wisdom and experience of the elders in the communities near the park, as well as an important learning resource for the BNT and future generations. The exhibit will include beautiful photographs, quotes, and ways to listen to the narrators tell the stories themselves. Friends of Exuma is proud to have sponsored this project and looks forward to sharing more details about the exhibit opening later this spring.
